RESPECTING A CHILD MAY LOOK LIKE:

1. Listening to their ideas without adding any information.
2. Let them focus in play or exploration without interrupting.
3. Asking their opinions.
4. Following their lead in pretend play.
5. Adhering to boundaries they set for themselves (tickling, needing space).
6. Communicating plans & intentions with them.

Respecting a child builds confidence and trust. Allow them to express ideas, share opinions, and set personal boundaries. Follow their lead in play and give them space to explore without interruptions. Clear communication about plans helps them feel valued and secure. Treating children with respect teaches them to respect others.
