  • Find community among people who are also healing (you are not alone)
  • Choose which relationships from your family of origin are worth maintaining.
  • Find role models outside of your family and learn from them.

If your childhood was toxic, you can heal as an adult. Keep the healthy parts, set boundaries, and create new traditions. Build a supportive family with friends and community. Choose which family relationships to maintain and find role models outside your family. Healing is possible, and you’re not alone.
