The incident occurred when a stampede broke out at the theatre, leading to the death of a 35-year-old woman. Her eight-year-old son was also injured and was hospitalized. Thankfully, after being treated, doctors confirmed that the boy is now recovering and can breathe on his own.
Allu Arjun’s father, veteran producer Allu Aravind, along with other film industry personalities, visited the boy in the hospital. They handed over cheques worth Rs 1 crore from Allu Arjun, Rs 50 lakh from the production company Mytri Movie Makers, and Rs 50 lakh from the film’s director Sukumar to the boy’s family.
Meanwhile, film industry leaders, including Dil Raju, Chairman of Telangana State Film Development Corporation (FDC), are working on strengthening relations with the state government. They are expected to meet with Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to discuss future cooperation between the government and the film industry.
After the tragic incident, a case was filed against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management. Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13 but was granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court a day later.
