Hollywood actor and comedian Adam DeVine, best known for his roles in Pitch Perfect and Workaholics, has opened up about how fatherhood has transformed his life. In a recent interview with People, the 41-year-old shared his excitement, joy, and parenting tips, offering insights into his journey as a new dad.
“I love it. It’s brought me so much joy,” said DeVine, who welcomed his first child, baby boy Beau DeVine, with wife Chloe Bridges in late 2023.
While thrilled with parenthood, Adam humorously admitted that his initial days were nerve-wracking. “People try to scare you, but don’t get scared, men,” he advised. The comedian encouraged dads-to-be not to listen to negative comments, sharing that he is enjoying every moment of fatherhood.
The couple had first announced their pregnancy on Instagram in October 2023 with Adam’s trademark humor. “Look, we’re pregnant! Well, I’m just fat but Chloe is pregnant with a human baby,” he joked.
Talking about family plans, Adam revealed he originally wanted 11 kids, but Chloe is firm about having only two. While he humorously bargained for four, Chloe’s stance remains unchanged.
Reflecting on fatherhood, Adam shared only one regret: “I wish I would’ve had kids sooner.”
Now, as he embraces parenting challenges and joys, the actor beams with pride over his little son, saying, “We’ve already learned some great parenting techniques.”
