Popular TV host Jenna Bush Hager recently shared her experiences and parenting advice, including whether more kids are in her future. Speaking exclusively to Parade on January 13, Jenna, 43, talked about raising her three children—Mila, Poppy, and Hal—with husband Henry Chase Hager.
Jenna revealed that parenting isn’t always easy, calling it a challenging yet rewarding journey. She shared advice she received from comedian Molly Shannon about raising teenagers: focus on their positive traits and remind them of their kind and empathetic nature. “Sure, they might act like teens sometimes, but deep down, that loving kid is still there,” Jenna said proudly about her daughter Mila, who is now entering her “tween” years.
When discussing her parenting approach, Jenna hopes her children learn kindness and empathy by observing her and her husband’s behavior. “I better have had a role,” she joked, adding that her kids are wild but also good at heart.
As for expanding her family, Jenna said the Hager household is complete for now, though she left the possibility open with a playful, “You never know.”
Jenna’s heartfelt insights remind parents to focus on love and understanding, even during tough times. Her story highlights the joys and challenges of parenting while balancing a busy career.
