- You can do hard things.
- Everyone feels scared, even me.
- Match your breath to mine.
- You are safe.
- You feel so scared/worried; I get that.
- What would you like to say to your worry?
Comfort an anxious child with supportive words. Tell them they can handle it, do hard things, and feel safe. Acknowledge their fears and guide them to calm their worries.
